My Hubby was watching one his Car Shows on TV called World’s Most Expensive Rides (He’s ready to win the Lotto and go buy some of these bad boys ;) .  I was half asleep when I was listening to the “Pagani” story and just knew I had to blog about him.

Horacio Pagani was born in Argentina in 1960 into a family of bakers. Pagani fell in love with Exotic Italian Sports Vehicles when he first saw a copy of Style Auto Magazine.  Pagani moved to Italy in 1982.

Horacio Pagani started out sweeping floors at Lamborghini. SWEEPING FLOORS because he moved to Italy to follow his dreams.  Pagani had limited formal study because his University closed due to a time of turmoil in his country.  Making Pagani a self taught genius. After being in Italy and working with Lamborghini and Ferrari Pagani was ready to create his own work.   Pagani took his inspiration from Leonardo Da Vinci and Juan Manuel Fangio (a five time Formula One Champion).

Now his Pagani Zonda F is valued at $700,000!!!  To date 100 total have been made  since the launch in 1999 because they only made one a month. This super car is outfitted with a  7.3 Liter V12, and does  0-60 in 3.6 seconds. Without any words meet Pagani’s Work:

Who would have thought ‘the person sweeping floors’ would now be taking credit for one of the Premier Supercars of Today!  Dreams and inspiration are a true gift.  Pagani the son of a baker developed his own Supercar! How awesome is he!!

If you like that story, did you know that Andrew Carnegie, as in the Carnegie of Carnegie Hall in NYC, came from Scotland when he was a child and became a factory worker…he eventually became the tycoon of Carnegie Steel industry.

I worked with a woman whose grandfather migrated to this country from Mexico on foot when he was eight years old. He slept in a tree and made money selling water to railroad workers laying the tracks. He created a life for himself and his family.

It’s amazing how just how much a person can accomplish when they set their mind to it. Thanks for sharing. :)
