It was really interesting. Apparently, she liked to wear pants (which was uncommon) and had an eclectic group of friends. This lady clearly was an innovator. It is really nice to be reminded of the people that have walked before us and cleared the path ahead. Thanks for such a nice post about a very courageous woman! I can add a personal connection to Amelia Earhart my Grandmother actually met her... Don't know how or where but I remember her telling me this with pride when I was a smalll child. I follow a woman on Twitter and she does just that. She is "technically" a senior citizen (in number, not attitude or lifestyle) and she travels the world as a single woman. She has become my inspiration, my hero. I see myself doing that one day. Great post, as always. Now get out there and drive, drive, drive you lovely heart to your destiny!
